We say that this event is not to be entered between the super tasty treats of the year, but it may be a good time to learn many things about eating good and healthy when we are at home and are waiting for the next good time to go out and pamper our gourmet soul.

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June at the Triennale di Milano will host the first edition of MILANO FOOD & WELLNESS, the event dedicated to healthy eating and physical activity structured in a series of meetings, workshops & show cooking to learn how to take care of yourself and your health.

The event will be open to the public and will have free admission. Some program activities, as laboratories and practical courses, are a limited number and require online registration. All the details on www.milanofoodwellness.it.

 

MILAN FOOD & WELLNESS – #iomimuovo is a project conceived and produced by Show Reel, the first Branded Content Agency in Italy, the artistic direction of Marco Bianchi, scientific popularizer of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi and Ambassador of EXPO Milano 2015.

 

Many guests who will speak at the event, including Pietro Leemann, the starred restaurant chef Joia in Milan, Lisa Casali, environmental scientist and expert in sustainable cuisine, the famous Italian singer Max Pezzali, Chef Hiro (Hirohiko Shoda), Chef of Gambero Rosso TV and the diving world champions Enzo Majorca and Mike Macleod.

MILAN FOOD & WELLNESS is based on awareness campaign #IOMIMUOVO launched on the web in 2014 by Marco Bianchi to encourage people to combat the sedentary lifestyle. The campaign, born from the awareness that "physical inactivity every year becomes more victims of smoking!"led to the birth of the book, published by Mondadori and become a best seller in a few months.

 

The event was born the idea of to introduce and explore these simple concepts of wellness and prevention to eat and live better.

 

Four thematic areas that will characterize the event: the area SHOW COOKING where the chefs guests will present their culinary creations focused on welfare and goodness, the area CONFERENCES, where will face issues related to prevention, wellness, healthy eating and sport, the area WORKSHOP dedicated to practical activities to numerus clausus, whom cooking classes, fitness activities and alternative workshops and finally the area WELLNESS where will alternate several coaches "exception" that will guide participants in group courses (es. Yoga, Pilates, Tai-chi ...) and cardio workouts that will continue within Parco Sempione.

The WORKSHOP will be dedicated to CHILDREN, that may participate in group games and activities safely enabling parents to enjoy the wellness program with confidence.

 

The activities within the four thematic areas will be held from 14.30 at 19.30 on Saturday and from 9.00 at 19.30 on Sunday.
