Blind tasting is a game that reveals interesting and unexpected nuances. There are those who, though, is always obliged to do it: the blind. But wine is a cultural heritage that should be available to all, from small to adults, in its many qualities and even in dangers. This is the mission that ONAV pursues since its founding and now becomes the central theme of new projects. Dall'Istruzione and culture will take it off, in autumn, the new approach to wine courses that, for the first time in Italy, see the collaboration of’Italian Union of blind and vision impaired and l’Ente Nazionale Sordi in organising attraverso la Italian sign language and Braille. «A project which investigates long ONAV – said the President Vito Intini – and now we are ready to implement. In fact, wine is a passion open to all, which by its nature does not have barriers nor borders».

The lessons, to be held on all the national territory, see using appropriate tools and methods of teaching: so the lessons for the blind and visually impaired will adopt specific Braille lyrics specially made, While the deaf can follow the lessons translated into Italian sign language, Thanks to the interpreters of the cooperative integration Signs. A training offer entirely new, that underlines the increasing attention of ONAV to create a truly open wine culture to all.
