Recycle the Dove with two tasty recipes

How to recycle the Easter Dove advanced? By using it as an ingredient secret for a simple Apple Pie and genuine. Ideal for a hearty breakfast, Apple Pie is a classic Italian cuisine, in this variant, buy a taste even more decided.


  • 250 g Dove
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr of sugar
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 Apples
  • 1 glass of rum



First, Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Put them in a deep dish with a glass of water, lemon juice, a sprinkling of cinnamon and a glass of rum. Now cut the Easter dove into thick slices of advanced 2 cm. Arrange on a baking sheet that you previously buttered and dusted with a handful of flour. Put the slices next to each other, without leaving spaces, in order to line up the bottom of the Pan. Apart from, in a bowl, beat with a whisk (also supply) the eggs with the sugar and add the milk little by little. You will have to obtain a frothy and clear, smooth and without lumps. Now moisten slices of Dove with this sweet and then arrange cremina the slices of Apple on top of. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of brown sugar and put in the oven, already hot, to 180 degrees for half an hour. When the Apple Pie is cooked remove from oven and let cool.

Egg Easter leftovers can be reused to prepare an irresistible chocolate cake and strawberries. A dessert that can conquer all palates. The aroma of chocolate and the delicate strawberries are perfect for tasty snacks with kids! And if the strawberries are not to your liking, You can replace them with other fruits like pears or bananas.


  • 80 gr butter
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 110 g flour
  • 50 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 gr sugar
  • 5/6 strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • icing sugar (to taste.)



Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler and add to the milk. Once prepared the mixture, Let it cool. Meanwhile, mix the sugar with the eggs until light and foamy cream to which to add the mixture of butter and chocolate and, below, the flour and baking powder sifted. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin previously and decorated with strawberries cut in half and passed in flour (so it will end up on the bottom of the pie). Put the cake in the oven already warm to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. As soon as cold, Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with a scoop of Fior di latte ice cream or whipped cream.
