Piacenza, 29-30 November: the broader the market always FIVI!

PIACENZA – Will open its doors to 12.30 on Saturday 29 November the 4th Wines from Vintners market independent, housed in the spacious PiacenzaExpo fair.

The growing success of the market – organized by FIVI and from the Fiera di Piacenza – will this year's tasting bench to overcome 250 exhibitors, from every corner of the country, with over 1000 wines in wine tasting. In two days the Independent Winegrowers are an important opportunity for aggregation and comparison of colleagues and, especially, have a privileged opportunity to meet an audience of passionate consumers, who choose the market to discover fascinating wines, often produced in little-known areas, to take home with the supermarket trolleys available: Christmas is not far away…

Sample bench joined four guided vertical – from book – dedicated to Soave Pieropan's, in Barolo and Ruchè di Beppe Rinaldi, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Emidio Pepe and finally to Chianti Rùfina of Selvapiana. To get the detailed program just Click here.

The younger colleagues will render homage to a vigneron octogenarian and modern, creator of Barbacarlo, the only cru monopole Italian: This is the bronese Lino Maga, which will be presented the award Romano Levi.

A large group of food artisans, representing different territories, will offer salumi, cheese, treats and sweets, to combine to perfection with the many types of wine tasting. Within the market will be set up also a restaurant of high level, edited by Antica Corte Pallavicina Spigaroli brothers, singers of Culatello di Zibello. It will also be a service available bar.

Here are the service information:

  • the market will be opened Saturday 29 November from 12.30 at 19.30 and Sunday 30 by 11 at 19;
  • the venue is the fair PiacenzaExpo, a short distance from the motorway exit of Piacenza South (about an hour from the city of Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Verona; less than an hour from Alexandria, Pavia, Mantova, Parma, Reggio Emilia);
  • for those arriving by train will be active a Shuttle service from and to the train station in Piacenza;
  • the price of the ticket at the entrance, that includes the tasting glass and the market catalogue, is 15,00 euro. The entire ticket can be purchased online on the site Mailticket. Ais members, Fisar, Onav Slow Food and pay only 10,00 euro, presenting its coffers valid card. Minors 18 years go for free, but they can only be accessed if accompanied by an adult.
