Aspiring wine designer, Veuve Clicquot is calling you to the appeal

Veuve Clicquot has always been the Maison de Champagne bolder and innovative, as evidenced by its history, studded with events that marked a break with the traditional method of Champagne: the creation of the first Champagne Rosé (1775), processing the first Vintage Champagne (1810) and the invention of table de rémuage (1818).

To the present day, la Maison of Reims has not ceased to innovate, but it does so in collaboration with the most renowned designers to create unique products and trying to tie the Champagne to design functional objects, designed with the spirit of usefulness and distinctive touch "So Clicquot".

As Clicquot Mailbox, presented in preview during the Milan Design Week last: la typical vintage box of American metal letters, in an unmistakable Clicquot Yellow, with a lift-up door and a red flag to announce the arrival of the content. The mailbag is created to contain to perfection a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label from 75 cl. bottles, with an envelope to leave a message for who will receive the following valuable gift.

Original pack which won all. Why not allow anyone to create their own Clicquot Mailbox? Hence the idea to hold a competition dedicated to all creatives, aspiring, emerging, suspected or confirmed, who want to interpret and re-create the Clicquot Mailbox according to their desires and their imagination.

VEUVE CLICQUOT RE-CREATION AWARDS – ENGLISH EDITION will be held exclusively online since 1 October to 15 November 2014.

To take part, participants will need to enter the site italianawards., follow all instructions (attest to have the legal age for consumption of alcohol in Italy, create an account with your personal information, accept the rules, Download the Creative Kits for project creation) and submit an original creation by midnight of the 15 November.

The competition will take place at the national level. Will be selected two winning Mailbox with two votes:

Public voting from 16 November to 15 December 2014

User-submitted creations will be published on the site italianawards. and subjected to public voting.

The vote is open to all those who are of the legal age for consumption of alcohol in your country of residence and that the show by clicking on the relevant box on the homepage. It is allowed only one vote per person, day and project.

Will be declared winner of the public "the author of creation that has gotten the most votes during the period from 16 November 2014 at midnight on 15 December 2014.

Jury vote among the 16 and the 22 December 2014

Within the 22 December 2014, the jury will declare a winner.

The jury will judge all creation, taking into account, particularly but not exclusively, the following criteria:

Strength/uniqueness of the idea/creative concept

Visual impact of creation

Coherence between the concept and the creative execution

Quality of execution

Consistency with the identity of the brand Veuve Clicquot

The potential that the creation has international distribution, to arouse the attention of the media and in any point of sale.


Both winners will receive:

  1. A stay in France for a person from 8 al 10 April 2015 including round-trip airfare to Paris, accommodation for two nights in a hotel and a unique experience to discover Veuve Clicquot at l ' Hôtel du Marc in Reims.

Participation as a guest at the ceremony of Re-Creation International Awards during the stay in France, with exposure of your own creation to the press and the chance to meet Pablo Reinoso, Ferruccio Laviani and Sarah Douglas.

  1. A stay in Milan for two people during the Milan Design Week 2015 (14-19 April 2015) including airfare roundtrip/railway to Milan, two nights accommodation in the hotel, entrance to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and guided tour to discover the city.

Participation as a guest at the presentation of the new limited edition Mailbox Clicquot 2015 during the stay in Milan.
