PHILIPPE DAVERIO, MAN OF THE YEAR 2014 per le Donne del vino

For the fourth year, the Associazione Nazionale Le Donne del Vino awarded a male character symbol of the highest level international culture. Man of the year 2014 the art critic Philippe Daverio.

With this choice, Le Donne del Vino chaired by Elena Martuscello, intend to highlight the correlation between wine and culture. A combination that is the basis of the activity of the 670 Members that, from 1988 operate, in all the regions of Italy.

The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 1 October 2014, in the beautiful surroundings
the Altoviti, inside the Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Venezia, Via del Plebiscito a Roma.

Born in Alsace from Italian father, Philippe Daverio, He dedicated his life to the study and dissemination of culture through institutional assignments, teaching and work as a journalist on TV and in print media.

Fine intellectual and uncompromising, innovator and nonconformist has distinguished himself over the years to a constant supply of ideas and stimuli in the Italian cultural debate.
