Ferrara, 17 may: “Lives of Women – the vignaiole will tell”

FERRARA – Saturday 17 may 2014, at 16, It will be inaugurated at the’discount Princess Pio (via delle Vigne 38) the event Lives of Women. The initiative – organized by the Association PIV, in collaboration with anthropologist Lucia Galasso – want to talk about why so many women, from personal and family different realities, have chosen to confront the Earth, the dust, toil and sweat, for producing wine: today may seem a fad, of course it wasn't until twenty years ago.

In the course of Roundtable the initial invite vignaiole, coming from different Italian regions, along with some food and communication professionals will explain the reasons for a choice that, Besides the fatigue, implies ideal, poetry, creativity, compared, culture and sensitivity.

In a photo exhibition collective will be exhibited pictures taken by participants in the debate; also the original artist Cassandra Wainhouse and Maurizia Gentiles will present some works created for the occasion.

At the end of the round table you can taste the wines in a well-chosen sample counter, open to the public.

At 20.30 the day will close with a joyous dinner in the company of vignaiole and their wines, paired with recipes of Emilia.
