Verona | Costermano | The House of the spirits

by Sunday, September 8, 2013

Paul hood is a chef which are particularly linked to where I don't know if I'll be very honest in telling you my experience at the House of the spirits of Costermano, Verona. The location is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating of Italy: stuff from gape view nearly 360 degrees of Lake Garda you will enjoy from the Hill on which is perched the beautiful stone farmhouse that houses the local. The huge park with olive trees, Oleander, rose, and much of the pool, complete the setting of the restaurant prestige 1 Michelin star that is worth a visit.
I say right away, the Bill is not painless, but it is a good investment, that won't give you remorse we regret.
The menu is mostly seafood. In the cellar, 1500 really hit with bottles, species with bubbles. Among the dishes that have intrigued me most, the SOP to black, the seared Norway lobster with cauliflower mousse is, herbs and licorice and the chickpeas with lobster Reggello rose and pine nuts.
Beautiful music in the background, world-class service.
On the upper floor there is a terrace, wine bar version of the House of the spirits, with a more traditional menu and prices more friendly. Two formulas for a local must-try.
