Food and design, food as metaphor, as a means of, as a tool of expression and story, food how to form and substance: as content. Food is one of the great protagonists of TDW 2013. Exposed, played, of road, prepared for vista, in a show, processed by star chef, exotic or delle cascine lombarde. THE 120 thousand visitors are expected in the area will find every kind of food-related experience and under – Palatal, olfactory marks, Visual AIDS – that bind thereto.
1) I TASTE TORTONA – FARMER & GOURMET EXPERIENCE
It starts with the second edition of I taste Tortona – Farmer & Gourmet Experience, an event born from an idea of Tortona Area Lab and developed in collaboration with theMaestro Martino Association, chaired by Chef Carlo Cracco and from the CIA – Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori di Milano – Lodi and Brianza.

2) "STARRY" MENU AT CAFE ' DADA – SUPERSTUDIO PIU '
Every evening from 9 al 14 April to Dada Cafe Superstudio Più will be offered a menu à la carte, with new food experiences – design, signed by Chef Fabio Baldassarre. Are chosen plates from his book "0 41- thoughts, recipes, views. Roots and dreams of good food”.
From 9 al 14 April, Slow Hand Design – in its third edition features: Thai--Spice at the Superstudio Più in via Tortona 27.
The exhibition project, curated by Eggarat Wongcharit, Thai scholar and designer, will present the craft and furniture related to food and Thai Food ".
4) LAVAZZA EXPERIENCE WITH RCS
TDW 2013 It is an opportunity to illustrate the historic Lavazza relationship and the world of chefs and haute cuisine. The appointment is to Lavazza Experience with RCS for Food & Design: tastings will be offered, training and information workshops dedicated to everything that revolves around the world of coffee.

5) ABCD – ART, GOOD FOOD AND DESIGN
At the Magna Pars Event Space comes to life ABCD: a project that wants to join the world design that copyright food: in house chef will alternate as ABCD David Galantini the Caffè Ambrosiano of Milan, Luciano Mali Pipero al Rex's of Rome, Aurora Mazzucchelli Marconi restaurant Sasso Marconi, Lucio Pompili of Symposium restaurant Cartoceto and Carlo Cracco, who will star in one special show cooking with TVS, during which you will teach the return to simplicity of flavours and everyday.

6) TIME TO CONNECT INNOVATIVE TRADITION, BY WHIRLPOOL
In the original Workshop location Savona, throughout the week, consumers will rediscover the value of time, the pleasure to indulge their passions and "connect" with people with several appointments and special events organized by Whirlpool. Special moments not only for adults, But even for children who will enjoy playing the chefs during the mini courses dedicated to them.
For cooking enthusiasts Whirlpool offers every day from 11.00 at 13.00 and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 16.00 at 18.00 demonstrations with chef special Whirlpool who will guide you discovering microwave cuisine and the new induction furnace.
