Here I am after a few weeks of stand by here du GG, to dedicate myself to a little’ by year-end raids. The meta? Monte-Carlo, where I perused some’ local note. The first was the Vistamar, Michelin star restaurant located inside the five star luxury Hotel Hermitage. The décor of the room, signed Pierre Yves Rochon, is absolutely contrary to the liberty style of the whole structure, but it does offer exceptional views over the Harbour and on the rock of Monaco, as well as a interesting kitchen orchestrated by the chef of the House, Joël Garault. I tasted the appetizer of scallops and mushrooms, good though not extraordinary, and two really good seconds: spiral of sole with scalloped potatoes, spinach and chanterelles, and the sea bass with clams and red onion bed accompanied with quinoa and Parmesan risotto. Two flute of Tattinger Champagne, 1 glass of Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand, a coffee, a tea, water, 268 euro. AND’ Monte-Carlo, Beauty!
