Always on the hunt for you wine and food initiatives worthy of note, with pleasure will point out a brand new.
MILAN – Saturday 4 February will open the first edition of Milan Food&Wine Festival. Born from an idea by Paolo Marchi and Helmuth Köcher, the festival will make available to the public the best fans of two of the major events of our country: Identità golose, the international gastronomy conference designed and maintained by Brands, and the Merano WineFestival, whose Köcher is founder and President.
For three days, until Monday 6 February, at the Mico Milano Congressi via Gattamelata 5 (North Wing, Gate 14) will open what promises to be the biggest temporary restaurant of the world, directed by Enrico and Roberto Cerea (By Vittorio, Brusaporto, Bergamo).
In the room there will be a Grand wine cellar 100 tasting tables of many Italian producers (here the full list), each will offer three wines: the two products that have achieved the best scores of the last selections Merano WineFestival and a third wine in their choice. In total, will then be submitted well 300 tags, among the most prestigious on the national scene, accessible to all for the price of 30,00 Euro daily.
In the kitchen will be featured twenty chefs, Italians and foreigners, with spectacular signature dishes, served to the public costs 10,00 euro each. The tasting tables will be open Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February by 11 at 23, Monday, 6 February by 11 at 21; the dishes will be performed – Obviously “live” – in bands of lunch and dinner.
